Our Story
About ten years ago we moved out of our home. We tried to sell, but no luck. So, we decided to turn it into a rental. At the time, we advertised through a local newspaper, and after struggling through the application process we successfully managed our first rental. And then, we moved again, repeating the entire process. Through those experiences we found that advertising an empty living space can be a real challenge. Our frustrations with the expense, inconvenience, and often ineffective methods of traditional advertising have made us realize the concept of this site. In contemplating the creation of this site the big question for us was: What would be the most effective, inexpensive, and convenient way to advertise and search for virtually any type of living space in Oregon? We believe that FindaPlaceinOregon.com is the answer.
Our idea
FindaPlaceinOregon.com is a site where local property owners and potential tenants can meet and find exactly what they’re looking for. We think it’s important to let you know that we are not big business. We are your neighbors. We live here too! We may have bumped into you while visiting Seaside or shopping at Saturday Market in downtown Portland. Because we live here we know what great things the State of Oregon has to offer everyone from those who are relocating, to our local residents and small business owners who are simply looking for a different place. We figure that you’re probably just like us and are interested in a site that has a lot to offer everyone who visits.
